The posting

Sir James Smith’s School is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced Teacher in charge of Catering and Hospitality to join our dedicated team. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover sickness absence. This role requires a confident practitioner with a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes and engaging lessons, who can hit the ground running and provide continuity for students during a period of staff absence. You will be joining a forward-thinking school with high expectations, a strong academic culture and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Sir James Smith’s School is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive, beautifully located on the North Cornish coast between Bude and Wadebridge, offering easy access to stunning beaches and countryside.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is capable of delivering outstanding teaching
  • Has high expectations of themselves and their students
  • Believes that every student can succeed and works relentlessly to make this happen
  • Can build positive relationships quickly with students and colleagues
  • Is a team player, bringing energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the department

We are building on the strong improvements in GCSE results achieved last year and are highly ambitious to continue raising standards and outcomes for all students.

If you have the energy, passion, resilience and drive to be part of our journey to becoming an outstanding school, we would love to hear from you. Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw this advertisement once sufficient applications have been received.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
