Role: Classroom Teacher (Year 4)

Location: Fir Bank Primary School, Grasmere Road, Royton, Oldham, OL2 6SJ

Hours: Full Time

Salary: MPS

Employment type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Start Date: 14th October 2026

We are looking for an outstanding classroom teacher who will bring their expertise and forward thinking, to our thriving, happy school. We are a respected one-form entry primary and nursery school positioned at the heart of our community. We are a school part of The Oak Trust, a Multi Academy Trust which creates an all-through MAT from 3 – 18 years.

The successful candidates will:

· Be excellent classroom practitioners with experience in all Key Stages

· Be imaginative, creative and can use this to build a curriculum that engages and challenges our children

· Have proven high standards of teaching and learning and is eager to work as part of a team to improve their practice and help every child reach their full potential

· Have excellent classroom organisation and behavior management skills

· Have a passion for education and has the ability to inspire and motivate our children

· Be able to support children, of all abilities, through inclusive practice

· Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
