We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our highly successful and experienced department from January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional learning experiences and fostering a genuine love of languages. The successful candidate will be an engaging and innovative classroom practitioner, capable of bringing language learning to life and helping students develop the skills and confidence to communicate in an increasingly connected world.

Working alongside a team of talented and highly collaborative colleagues, you will contribute to a creative and stimulating curriculum that encourages students to embrace new cultures, broaden their horizons and achieve their full potential.

BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. The school also includes a large sixth form campus and achievements at KS5 have been a key strength at BCHS. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25.

Brentwood County High School is a member of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. The Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust, with twelve member schools within Essex. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the schools’ Co-operative Society.
