Forest Way School Full Time | Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance

Are you a passionate and highly skilled teacher with experience of supporting pupils with complex learning needs within a primary setting?

Forest Way School is a successful and nurturing special school for pupils aged 4-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. We are seeking an exceptional teacher who is committed to enabling every child to achieve their full potential through engaging, creative, and personalised learning opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who has a strong understanding of teaching pupils with complex needs, including those with severe learning difficulties, autism, communication needs, sensory needs, and associated medical or physical needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Has successful experience working with pupils with complex SEND in a primary or special school setting.
  • Demonstrates a child-centred approach and high aspirations for every learner.
  • Can deliver creative, engaging and highly differentiated learning experiences.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is committed to working collaboratively with families and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Has resilience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for special education.
