Vacancy: Teaching Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Grade: TSPT 4, 12-13 Points

Hours: 11 hours per week (5.5 hours a day), 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days) Monday & Tuesday - 8:30am - 3:00pm, with 1-hour unpaid break

Salary: £6,680 - £6,727 (FTE £25,522 - £25,703)

Start date: 2nd November 2026 - subject to checks

We are looking for a committed, hard-working, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can demonstrate good classroom practice to join our experienced team supporting wider inclusion.

The successful candidate will be confident and willing to work collaboratively, committed and dedicated to improving children’s learning and have good numeracy and literacy skills.

Previous experience of working in a school is essential and a Level 3 or equivalent teaching support qualification, together with knowledge of SEND would be an advantage. All members of staff are offered the opportunity and encouraged to undertake relevant training for their roles.
