What You’ll Do:

  • Support pupils’ learning across a range of activities, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Work closely with teachers to prepare engaging resources and deliver personalised learning plans.
  • Foster independence and self-esteem in pupils, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assist with classroom organisation and ensure a safe, stimulating learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families, contributing to our inclusive ethos.
  • Support pupils during off-site visits and collaborate with external agencies when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring, proactive individual who enjoys working with children. Experience of supporting children with SEND.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths. Teaching Assistant qualifications or experience would be an advantage.
  • Qualifications or experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs would also be an advantage.
  • Someone who communicates effectively and works well as part of a team.
  • A role model who upholds high expectations and promotes positive behaviour.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
