We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside talented staff to help pupils achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes under the direction of the class teacher.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support pupils' learning and development in the classroom.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and support programmes.
  • Assist teachers in preparing learning materials and classroom activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.

Pay range: SCP 4-6 - £20,098.78 - £20,740.77 - FTE: £26,016.00 - £26,847.00 - Maternity Cover - 32.5 Hours/39 Weeks per year

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSES English & Maths
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork and organisational skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive educational practices
