Job Description

SPA THERAPIST

Job Summary: The spa therapist is responsible for delivering a sense of well-being by performing a wide range of spa treatments. Greets and welcomes spa guests, informs guests of spa packages, promotions, and rates, and customise treatments and therapies to suit guests' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing all guest services in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction and world-class service
  • Ensuring that guests are as comfortable as possible before, during and after their treatment/service
  • Enquiring about any medical conditions or other special needs prior to commencement of service
  • Performing all treatments/services as established in the department standards
  • Performing services in various on-property locations as reserved
  • Replenishing service supplies/products for workstation
  • Following trends in the industry and make recommendations to improve service offerings

Qualifications:

  • Valid certificate or license in field of expertise
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Two (2) years' experience in a customer service role
  • Experience in hospitality or resorts is an asset

Work Environment:

  • Indoor spaces
  • May be required to work outside of normal hours
  • and on nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Heavy guest interaction
