The posting

We are looking for an experienced Data Officer / Data Governance Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of data governance practices within an international industrial organization.

In this role, you will work closely with Data Managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, accessibility, and compliance with established governance standards.

The position combines data governance, data quality management, metadata management, and cross-functional coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys connecting business requirements with technical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Data Governance standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Consolidate and monitor data quality KPIs managed by Data Managers.
  • Support Data Managers in defining data quality rules, performance indicators, and measurement methodologies.
  • Participate in implementing data protection and governance mechanisms.
  • Support Data Managers in using Data Governance tools, including Data Readiness, Data Heatmaps, Data Quality Control Towers, and Data Catalogs.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Data Catalog to support business processes and data accessibility.
  • Coordinate the collection, updating, and maintenance of metadata in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Support the definition and maintenance of data models, data pipelines, and data integration processes.
  • Collaborate with the Data Factory team, including Data Engineers and Data Architects, to deliver data products such as datasets, data pipelines, reports, and analytics.
  • Promote data governance awareness and facilitate collaboration between business and IT teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, data quality management, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience working with Data Catalogs and Data Governance tools.
  • Experience defining, monitoring, or coordinating data quality KPIs and governance processes.
  • Understanding of data modelling, data pipelines, and data integration concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Managers, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and similar collaboration tools.
  • Good command of English (at least intermediate level).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.

What We're Looking For

An analytical and well-organized professional who understands both the business and technical aspects of data management.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Data Governance and Data Quality, is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, and can coordinate initiatives that improve data reliability, transparency, and usability across the organization.

This is primarily a data governance and coordination role, rather than a hands-on Data Engineering position. It involves close collaboration with technical teams but does not necessarily require direct people management.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work in an international organization within the advanced manufacturing sector.
  • Exposure to modern data management technologies and enterprise-wide data initiatives.
  • Professional development opportunities, including training and certification support.
  • Stable employment with a fixed salary and additional performance-related bonus.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including private medical care, life insurance, meal subsidies, and employee welfare benefits.
  • Employee referral program and long-service recognition awards.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
