Title: Senior MEP Drafter (Revit or Inventor), $90K+, Tulsa
Location: On-site, Tulsa, OK. Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Type: Direct hire, full time
Pay: Starting at $90K base, depending on experience
You're the drafter people bring their redlines to. You know how a building's mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems fit inside a structure, and your drawing packages go to the field without a round of questions.
A growing Tulsa company builds modular structures for a national program, and the volume is climbing. They need a senior drafter to own the building systems side. You'll take base designs and turn them into site-specific drawing packages, check other drafters' work before it ships, and help set the standards the team draws to.
What you'll do
Adapt base designs into construction-ready MEP drawing packages for each new site. Check and redline drawings from other drafters and modelers. Build and maintain templates, title blocks and drafting standards. Coordinate with engineering and production so systems clear the structure the first time. Train newer team members on the tools and the standards.
What you bring
Eight or more years producing construction or shop drawings. Strong work in at least one of mechanical (HVAC, ductwork, piping), electrical (power, lighting, panels), or plumbing. All three are a bonus, not a requirement. Daily use of Revit or Inventor, plus AutoCAD. The team runs both, so either one gets you in the door.
You've checked someone else's drawings and owned the result. You've built or cleaned up a template or standard because the old one slowed everyone down.
Pluses
Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, or Bluebeam. VDC or BIM coordination experience with a contractor. Modular, prefab, or repeat-design work across multiple sites.
