De Data Acceleration Tribe is verantwoordelijk voor het creëren van data- en AI-producten die data omzetten in concurrentievoordelen.

Binnen de Data Foundations teams creëren en beheren we data products. Je krijgt de autonomie om de ontwikkeling van data products aan te sturen en speelt een sleutelrol in het optimaal benutten van data ter ondersteuning van besluitvorming binnen de organisatie. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Data Product Manager

  • Je werkt samen met de business teams om fact-based en data-driven beslissingen te nemen rond impactvolle topics. Dit omvat doorgaans volgende activiteiten:
  • Als Data Product Manager help je mee richting geven aan data products zodat ze aansluiten bij de noden van stakeholders, en help je de data product roadmap te beheren met focus op value creation.
  • Je vertaalt businessnoden naar duidelijke dataset designs. Dit houdt in dat je data uit verschillende bronnen analyseert en in kaart brengt, data kwaliteit verzekert via validaties, structurele checks opzet, overkoepelende data flows visualiseert en documentatie voorbereidt ter ondersteuning van data engineers.
  • Je bouwt sterke partnerships op met business stakeholders en helpt hen om essentiële dataconcepten beter te begrijpen en data gedreven beslissingen te nemen.
  • Je werkt samen met IT application stakeholders en architecten om ervoor te zorgen dat data noden correct worden meegenomen in de applicaties waaruit we data halen.
  • Je treedt op als data ambassador door kennis, best practices en updates rond nieuwe of verbeterde datasets te delen binnen de bredere data community.
  • Je rapporteert aan en werkt nauw samen met de Product Owner, waarbij je afstemt over roadmaps en input geeft voor backlog prioritisatie.

Jouw profiel als ideale Data Product Manager

  • Masterdiploma in een kwantitatieve richting (Business Engineering, Toegepaste Economie, Computer Sciences, Information Management, …) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • 2 tot 5 jaar ervaring in een rol als data analyst, functional analyst, business insights, business intelligence of gelijkaardig
  • Je kan verschillende datanoden en businessprocessen met elkaar verbinden en vertalen naar duurzame data oplossingen
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden om stakeholders te betrekken en concepten helder uit te leggen
  • Grondige kennis van SQL is een must
  • Hands on ervaring met requirements gathering, functional analysis en data modelling
  • Goede kennis van data flows en design
  • Is vertrouwd met cloudtechnologieën (kennis van Snowflake is een pluspunt)
  • Je kan de brug slaan tussen business en data
  • Aandacht voor customer experience
  • Is vlot in het Engels, Nederlands of Frans is een plus
  • Heeft ervaring met werken in een Agile organisatie
