The posting

Purpose:

  • Follow up provision of compliance with all filing requirements under Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Customs Code and other related legislation.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely calculation of taxes and other obligatory payments to Republic of Kazakhstan (RoK) budget and control over tax payments timeliness.
  • Accurate and timely tax filing.
  • Reconcile of the Company's accounting data with data provided to Tax Authorities.
  • Corporate Income Tax and Withholding Tax compliance and filing.
  • VAT and tax compliance and filing.
  • Other taxes as required (property tax, land tax, environmental tax etc).
  • Customs payments compliance.
  • Support during various tax and other audits.
  • Follow up the Company's Tax Policy and other procedures.
  • Advise on RoK Tax Matters.
  • Tax review of Company's contracts.
  • Follow up RoK tax legislative changes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High University degree in finance or accounting, economics.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in the industry.

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Ability to liaise effectively with Fiscal Authorities.
  • Knowledge of the RoK tax law, Tax Treaties provisions.
  • Have good analytical thinking, interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Accuracy and team player.
  • Capability to work with PC, MS office programs.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Working Conditions:

  • Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, if required.
