Position Highlights:

  • Logistics:Pay: $23.00+ an hour Contract Type: 6-month contract with a 6-month extension period Schedule: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded Location: 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX
  • Requirements:Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship Previous carpentry experience and knowledge in the construction field OSHA certification Creativity and design skills Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws, and nail guns Reliable transportation to and from work An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry (preferred) Joinery or cabinet-making skills (preferred) Knowledge of building regulations and codes (preferred) Previous experience with the VA is a plus
