Click here to learn more about joining AgriLife! Position Information: Job Summary: The Senior Custodian is responsible for performing tasks to maintain building cleanliness. Responsibilities: Performs tasks to clean and maintain general appearance of headquarters building, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing and burnishing floors. Dust, disinfect, wash and clean walls, offices, restrooms, kitchens and meeting spaces. Operate mechanical, electrical and battery operated machines to aid in performing custodial cleaning duties. Pick up supplies and deliver items as required. Clean headquarters and headhouse restrooms Daily trash collection. Daily mail pick-up and transport to post office. Securing building daily. Window cleaning, sweeping sidewalks and building entrances Performs painting Maintain inventory and order janitorial supplies as needed. Arrange classroom space, auditorium and lobby for meetings which requires moving and lifting tables and chairs. Change light bulbs and air filters. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High school graduation or GED. One year of related experience. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Computer knowledge. What You Need to Know Salary: Compensation is commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications. This is an hourly paid position. Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
