Home to Storehouse Sydney Central Restaurant & Bar and a stunning rooftop pool, the hotel welcomes a mix of corporate and leisure travellers seeking the best of Sydney's dining, convention and tourism experiences.   We're looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver quality food experiences that keep our guests coming back.   About the Role As a Cook, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards. Working alongside a supportive culinary team, you'll contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for hotel guests and local diners alike.   Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with established recipes and standards Assist with service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and event operations as required Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency Support stock rotation, inventory management and waste minimisation practices Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements Keep kitchen workstations clean, organised and service-ready Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What We're Looking For Essential

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and evenings Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable

Relevant culinary qualification Hotel, restaurant or hospitality experience Experience working across multiple service periods
