Combining sophisticated accommodation, welcoming hospitality and vibrant social spaces, the hotel delivers memorable experiences for both business and leisure travellers. As we continue to build an exceptional team, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, asset management and compliance. About the Role As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep, safety and functionality of the hotel. You will lead preventative maintenance programs, manage contractors and ensure all building systems operate efficiently while supporting the delivery of outstanding guest service. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations of the hotel Develop and manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules Ensure all plant, equipment and building services are maintained to a high standard Manage contractor relationships and oversee external service providers Ensure compliance with WHS, fire safety and regulatory requirements Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs effectively Coordinate capital improvement and asset management projects Respond promptly to operational and emergency maintenance issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hotel performance

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role Strong knowledge of building services, plant and equipment maintenance Demonstrated experience managing maintenance programs and contractors Sound understanding of workplace health and safety legislation Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable

Experience within hotels, hospitality, accommodation or large commercial facilities Relevant trade qualification or technical certification Experience with building management and energy management systems
