Job Title: Key Control Job Department: Parking Garage Job Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour Job Summary: As a "Parking Garage" Key Control Specialist, you will play an essential role in delivering a secure, seamless, and Five-Star guest experience. You will maintain precise control and accountability for vehicle keys, track overnight vehicles, monitor garage access points, and ensure accurate documentation while providing personalized and professional assistance to guests, members, and visitors. Maintain a secure and auditable key-control system for hundreds of guests, VIP, and employee vehicle keys daily, ensuring strict accountability and accurate tracking at all times. Ensure accurate parking charges and billing are properly recorded in AS400 in accordance with established procedures. Perform physical key audits and reconciliations at each shift change, verifying the accuracy of all physical and digital key-control records and promptly addressing discrepancies. Tag, log, and securely store vehicle keys immediately upon valet intake, ensuring each key is accurately matched to the appropriate claim ticket, vehicle, and designated parking location. Immediately report any lost, missing, misplaced, or potentially compromised vehicle keys to the Director of Security and Front Office Management in accordance with established security protocols. Monitor garage access points, surveillance systems, and vehicle traffic to help maintain a safe, secure, and controlled parking environment. Conduct routine patrols of parking areas to verify vehicle security, monitor restricted areas, and identify potential safety or security concerns. Coordinate closely with the valet team to facilitate the safe, efficient, damage-free parking, staging, and retrieval of luxury, exotic, and high-value vehicles. Greet and assist guests, VIPs, members, and visitors with polished, professional service consistent with Five-Star hospitality standards. Respond professionally to inquiries regarding vehicle retrieval times, luggage assistance, parking rates and arrangements, and resort amenities, exercising discretion and maintaining guest confidentiality. Safeguard guest privacy, vehicle keys, personal belongings, and vehicle contents at all times, maintaining the highest standards of security, confidentiality, and professionalism. Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond). Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets. Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:
Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent. Previous experience in high-end hospitality, valet operations, or asset/key security is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered. A valid driver’s license is required, as this role may involve transporting equipment across the Resort. Please note that all employees operating Broadmoor vehicles must be at least 18 years of age. Exceptional organizational precision, basic proficiency in digital inventory or key-tracking software, and calm demeanor under pressure. Impeccable personal grooming aligned with luxury resort uniform and presentation standards. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication. A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration. Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
