The posting

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of approximately 15 technicians on the manufacturing floor, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality assembly of modular electrical skids. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team, solving problems, and driving production forward.

This is not a traditional office-based management position. The ideal candidate is an experienced electrical professional who has naturally progressed into a lead or supervisory role and enjoys mentoring others while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Candidates with experience in electrical manufacturing, modular construction, switchgear, control panels, power distribution equipment, industrial fabrication, or similar industries are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of approximately 15 production technicians.
  • Provide daily direction to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
  • Monitor production activities to maintain quality, productivity, and workflow.
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and removing obstacles for the team.
  • Ensure electrical assemblies are built in accordance with drawings, specifications, and company standards.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability on the manufacturing floor.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process and ensure workmanship meets expectations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production planning, quality, and leadership to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Train, mentor, and develop technicians while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Preferred Background

  • Electrical experience within manufacturing, modular construction, industrial construction, switchgear, power distribution, control panels, or similar environments.
  • Experience leading crews, teams, or production personnel as a Lead, Senior Technician, Foreman, Crew Lead, or Production Supervisor.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows and electrical installation best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with QA/QC processes or electrical quality inspections is highly desirable.
  • Construction or field electrical experience is a plus.
  • Manufacturing leadership experience is preferred but not required if the candidate has demonstrated leadership in the field.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who has earned the respect of the people around them through technical expertise and leadership. This individual enjoys being on the floor, helping their team succeed, and setting the pace for safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate may currently be working as a:

  • Production Supervisor
  • Electrical Lead
  • Senior Electrical Technician
  • Electrical Foreman
  • Manufacturing Team Lead
  • Assembly Lead
  • Electrical Superintendent (manufacturing environment)
  • QA/QC Electrical Technician with leadership responsibilities

This opportunity is ideal for someone ready to take the next step into a production leadership role while remaining closely connected to the day-to-day work on the manufacturing floor.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
