About The Millennium Alliance

The Millennium Alliance is the premier executive events company in B2B. We produce curated assemblies and executive dinners that connect C-suite and VP-level decision-makers from Fortune 1000 organizations with leading technology and service providers. With a network of more than 13,000 executives and over 350 events annually across North America and Europe, we create meaningful business relationships that drive innovation and growth.

About the Role

The Millennium Alliance is seeking a Product Manager, Technology to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our growing technology ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to join the organization as the first dedicated technology product hire and play a foundational role in shaping the future of our internal and customer-facing platforms.

You will be responsible for defining and owning the product roadmap, managing execution with an external engineering team, and driving technology initiatives that directly impact the way our business operates. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this highly visible role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to build the product function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap for Millennium Alliance's proprietary platform and broader technology ecosystem
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and making strategic trade-off decisions
  • Lead sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives with an offshore engineering team
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate deliverables, and oversee product releases
  • Evaluate third-party software solutions and make recommendations regarding build-versus-buy decisions
  • Partner with stakeholders across Client Services, Delegate Acquisition, Sponsorship Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to gather requirements and define priorities
  • Monitor platform adoption, collect user feedback, and continuously improve the product experience
  • Identify project risks, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives
  • Present product updates, milestones, and performance metrics to executive leadership and steering committees
  • Drive the evolution of the platform from internal operational tooling to a scalable customer-facing product

What Makes This Role Different

  • Ownership from Day One – You will establish the product roadmap, processes, and standards as the organization's first dedicated Product Manager.
  • Direct Business Impact – The platform supports more than 100 internal users today and will ultimately serve thousands of sponsors and executive delegates annually.
  • Greenfield Opportunity – Build within a modern technology environment without the burden of legacy systems or extensive technical debt.
  • Career Growth – Help establish and scale a permanent product function within a company experiencing significant year-over-year growth.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of a product, platform, or technology initiative
  • Proven experience managing external development partners or distributed engineering teams
  • Demonstrated success delivering products from concept through launch, adoption, and iteration
  • Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative product development methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints
  • Experience with B2B platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), event technology, or operational software solutions is highly preferred
  • Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and collaborating closely with engineering teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
