Zorg jij ervoor dat onze bloemen en planten iedere dag op tijd en volgens afspraak bij klanten in heel Europa aankomen? Voor onze transport- en expeditieafdeling zoeken wij een energieke leider die de dagelijkse operatie soepel laat verlopen én continu kijkt hoe processen slimmer, efficiënter en betrouwbaarder kunnen.

Over The Floral Connection

Wekelijks zorgen wij ervoor dat miljoenen bloemen en planten hun weg vinden naar (food)retailers in meer dan 20 Europese landen. Dat doen we met zo’n 175 collega’s vanuit het hart van de bloemenwereld: Aalsmeer.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Manager Transport & Expeditie stuur jij het transport- en expeditie team dagelijks aan. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle orders tijdig, correct en volgens afspraak bij onze klanten in Europa worden afgeleverd.

  • Je stuurt het transport- en expeditie team dagelijks aan en bent zichtbaar op de werkvloer.
  • Je stelt transport- en verlaadplanningen op en bewaakt de voortgang gedurende de dag.
  • Je coördineert de uitgaande goederenstromen en schakelt actief met expeditie, transporteurs, planning, productie, sourcing en customer service.
  • Je bewaakt transportdocumentatie, leverbetrouwbaarheid, kosten, beladingsgraad en kwaliteit.
  • Je signaleert operationele verstoringen, stelt prioriteiten en zorgt voor praktische oplossingen.
  • Je coacht, ontwikkelt en motiveert medewerkers en stuurt op KPI’s zoals OTIF, transportkosten en productiviteit.

Wie ben jij?

Je krijgt energie van dynamiek en weet rust te bewaren wanneer volumes pieken. Je bent een natuurlijke leider die mensen meeneemt in veranderingen én zelf de handen uit de mouwen steekt wanneer dat nodig is.

  • Je hebt MBO+/HBO werk- en denkniveau.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen transport, logistiek of supply chain.
  • Je hebt leidinggevende ervaring in een operationele omgeving.
  • Je hebt kennis van transportprocessen en logistieke systemen.
  • Je communiceert helder in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je bent proactief, betrouwbaar, oplossingsgericht en sterk in plannen en prioriteren.
  • Affiniteit met versproducten is een pré.

  • Een salaris tussen € 4.100 en € 4.800 bruto per maand op basis van 40 uur per week, afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring
