Are you ready to take the next step in your legal career and continue developing your skills in a supportive, ambitious environment? We're looking for a motivated and driven Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join our team in Nottingham and make a meaningful impact.

At Thompsons Solicitors, we specialise in personal injury and clinical negligence claims, and we're seeking someone with a genuine interest in the field and a desire to build a successful career. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing a high-quality and varied clinical negligence caseload, working alongside experienced professionals who will support your growth and help you take your career to the next level. We currently have 2 vacancies available in the team.

If successfully shortlisted, you will be required to complete an online assessment, which will be sent to the email address you used to apply for this position. Subject to successful completion and selection, you must then be available to attend our Nottingham office on Wednesday 4th November or Monday 16th November for a final stage interview. The role...

Our paralegals work across all areas of cases including liability investigations, medical record review, instructing experts and Counsel, client and witness meetings, legal research, disclosure preparation, court attendance and much more.

Working both independently and as part of a team, they produce high-quality work, utilising case management systems, Word, and Excel.

More about you...

We’re really keen to hear from ambitious paralegals who want to fast-track their career. We are looking for paralegals with knowledge of personal injury/clinical negligence claims and the law applicable to the role, together with familiarity with Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), and funding within the personal injury/clinical negligence field.

With the ability to work efficiently, accurately, and meet deadlines, and excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, we are looking for team players who are passionate about providing exceptional client care. Proficiency in IT applications and competence in using electronic case management systems is key to success in this team.
