Company Overview:

Tidal is a Direct Placement Agency that helps job seekers find job opportunities for real growth. We work with stable, responsible businesses experienced in remote hires and are excited to welcome international team members. Tidal is owned and operated by consumer brand owners and operators. We have experience in offshore team-building and aim to help businesses leverage global talent.

About This Role:

We’re hiring a Technical Implementation & Support Engineer to support Series A/B SaaS companies and high-growth Shopify brands whose CTOs and senior engineers are overloaded. This role focuses on hands-on execution, including managing QA, troubleshooting production issues, implementing modules and integrations, and supporting clients' onboarding. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where reliability and speed matter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own technical onboarding and implementation for new clients
  • Install, configure, and maintain platform modules and third-party integrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs and system issues
  • Support QA testing, write test cases, and ensure release quality
  • Handle basic to mid-level feature development and code fixes
  • Assist with API integrations and webhooks
  • Monitor system performance and escalate architectural concerns when needed
  • Collaborate with CTO, Product, and Customer Success teams
  • Maintain clean documentation for implementations and fixes
  • Improve internal technical processes to reduce recurring issues

Software/Platforms/Tools:

  • Modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
  • Backend frameworks such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python, or similar
  • REST APIs and/or GraphQL
  • AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud infrastructure
  • Git-based workflows such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Shopify for eCommerce-focused clients
  • Issue tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or ClickUp
  • Postman or API testing tools
  • Slack and Google Workspace

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of freelancing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on development or technical support experience
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or eCommerce environments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot live production systems
  • Experience supporting client onboarding or implementation
  • Comfortable working directly with CTOs or senior technical leaders
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance speed with code quality
  • Experience in remote, cross-functional teams
  • Independent, proactive, and execution-focused

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with required overlap during U.S. business hours

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
