The posting

The TikTok Global Live R&D team builds and maintains the products behind TikTok's live streaming business. Our work spans social interaction, monetization activities, the creator ecosystem, subscription services, game streaming, and guild and operations platforms, supporting the product's rapid growth in global markets.

Behind those products sit hard technical problems in service architecture, large model algorithms, and foundation technologies. Solving them keeps a fast-growing business reliable, efficient, and secure. At the same time, each business scenario needs technical solutions built for its own demands.

You will work alongside a strong team on problems that move real product metrics and user experience, where every line of code you write reaches hundreds of millions of users.

The TikTok LIVE Platform Frontend team will focus on frontend development. We will also focus on understanding our users, identifying opportunity areas, prioritizing the problems we must solve, and rapidly creating innovative user experience solutions. We are looking for experienced engineers in the front-end field to build excellent products.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Responsibilities: - To develop user-interfaces for TikTok Live on PC/ Mobile Devices, including Middle platform, Operating platform, Products for users, Events with Multi-scales and etc. - To develop infrastructures such as engineering solutions that will be supporting TikTok Live's business and productivity tools and platforms. - Create the ultimate user experience and support the growth and development of the TikTok Live Ecosystem with high-quality design and coding. - Explore and implement efficient collaboration methods to enhance the efficiency of remote and cross-regional communication and support the iteration of our business.

Minimum Qualification(s) - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related engineering discipline. - Solid front-end programming skills with experience in solving browser compatibility issues and optimizing front-end performance. - Understand front-end engineering and component development, having a certain design skill set and familiar with at least one MV* framework.

Preferred Qualification(s) - Having excellent service awareness, learning ability, communication and collaboration ability. - Good to have experience in multi-end (Native/PC/Server) development. - Good to have experience in participating or leading large-scale projects and open source projects. - Good to have experience in writing tech articles or tech blogs.
