Join an early-stage startup built on high ownership, fast iteration, and entrepreneurial kindness. You’ll work directly with our multi-time founders and small, powerful team to build Tokenize’s marketing foundation from scratch.

As our first marketing hire, you’ll be the architect of Tokenize’s go-to-market strategy. You’ll create the brand narrative, messaging, customer acquisition strategies, and positioning for our innovative AI usage management platform in a rapidly growing global market.

This is an in-office role based in San Francisco’s China Basin/South Beach neighborhood. We offer a competitive salary and generous early-stage equity.

What you’ll own

  • Category positioning and narrative: Build crisp, ROI-driven narrative strategy and compelling messaging for audiences ranging from technical engineering leaders to value-focused finance executives.
  • Close partnership with sales and founders: Work directly with co-founders and sales leads to fuel the outbound pipeline with pitch decks, case studies, and campaign messaging.
  • Organic growth and thought leadership: Amplify our co-founders’ and team members’ reach on social and industry platforms, testing messaging organically to build awareness and scale.
  • Market intelligence and target database: Understand our ideal customer profile, maintain a clean contact database, and leverage ecosystem partnerships to expand our footprint.
  • High-proximity marketing: Prioritize impactful channels including developer and CFO events, tactical webinars, partner co-marketing, and targeted founder outreach.
  • Education and experimentation: Establish early marketing budgets, measure organic traction, and help guide the company’s go-to-market trajectory.

What we’re looking for

  • A track record as a founding marketer, early marketing hire, or lead product marketer at a fast-growing B2B SaaS, developer tools, or AI startup.
  • Experience across product marketing, content creation, brand positioning, and demand generation.
  • Fluency with modern marketing technology stacks and AI-forward tools that automate execution.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working directly with startup founders or executive leadership in a fast-moving environment.
