Toyota Santa Monica is Hiring a General Sales Manager!

Toyota Santa Monica is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Sales Manager with at least 3 years of proven GSM experience, preferably in the Greater Los Angeles market. The ideal candidate has a track record of driving sales performance, leading a seasoned team, and delivering consistent results in a high-volume dealership environment. We are looking for a committed leader with a stable employment history who is ready to hit the ground running.

*This is a local opportunity only — we will not consider candidates outside the Greater Los Angeles area, and relocation is not available.

Responsibilities

As General Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our success, leading and inspiring a dynamic team to new heights. You'll be responsible for managing daily operations and driving sales growth. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency
  • Utilize software systems to track sales performance and generate reports

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience as a General Sales Manager in the automotive dealership industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions
  • Proficient in using software systems for sales tracking and reporting

Compensation

  • The estimated annual earnings for this position are $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, etc.
  • Employees in this position will receive a base salary of approximately $10,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month, plus commissions and bonuses based on performance.
