Deine Aufgaben

Als PHP-Entwickler:in bist du Teil unseres Backend-Teams und arbeitest gemeinsam mit den Kolleg:innen aus den anderen Softwarebereichen an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Plattform. Du gestaltest neue Features auf unserer bestehenden Yii-basierten Seite, bringst dich in unsere Symfony-Neuentwicklungen ein und wirkst dabei aktiv mit, den Monolithen auf eine serviceorientierte Architektur zu migrieren.

  • Du entwickelst bestehende Transfermarkt-Funktionen weiter und bringst neue Features auf den Weg – sowohl im Monolithen als auch im neuen Symfony-Stack
  • Du baust robuste REST-APIs auf, die unsere Web- und App-Projekte vernetzen
  • Du stimmst dich eng mit den Stakeholdern ab, z. B. bei der API-Gestaltung oder der Integration externer Services
  • Du arbeitest in einem wachsenden System mit vielen Millionen Requests pro Tag – Performance, Skalierbarkeit und saubere Architektur stehen dabei im Fokus
  • You build it, you run it: Dein Interesse geht über die Softwareentwicklung hinaus und es interessiert dich auch wie sich die Anwendung im produktiven Einsatz verhält, überwacht und verbessert werden kann
  • Du entwickelst im agilen Scrum-Prozess in zweiwöchigen Sprints und bringst dich aktiv in Reviews, Retros und die technische Weiterentwicklung ein

  • Sprache & Frameworks: PHP 7.4 / 8.x, Yii 1, Symfony
  • Architektur: Schrittweise Migration von einem Monolithen zu einer serviceorientierten Architektur mit klaren API-Verträgen
  • Datenbank & Caching: MySQL 8, Redis, Memcache
  • Kommunikation: REST-APIs, AMQP, Pub/Sub
  • Tooling & CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, Composer, automatisierte Deployments, Container-basierte lokale Entwicklung
  • Codequalität & Arbeitsweise: 4-Augen-Code-Reviews, Daily Meetings, agiles Arbeiten in 2-Wochen-Sprints, dezentrale Remote-Zusammenarbeit via Workadventure und MS Teams

Dein Profil

  • Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung mit PHP – idealerweise mit Symfony, Yii oder vergleichbaren Frameworks
  • Du kennst dich mit REST-APIs und klassischer MVC-Architektur aus und bist offen für den Übergang in eine moderne servicebasierte Welt
  • Du bringst ein Verständnis für Performance, Skalierbarkeit und Wartbarkeit großer Webanwendungen mit
  • Du hast Interesse an enger technischer Abstimmung mit Microservice- und Frontend-Kolleg:innen
  • Du arbeitest gerne im Team, beteiligst dich aktiv an Code Reviews und übernimmst Verantwortung für deine Themen
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1) sind erforderlich
