Frontend Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA (in office 5 days per week)

Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 + competitive equity

Employment Type: Full-time

Visa Sponsorship: Visa transfers (OPT, H-1B transfer)

About the Company

The client is the first audio data research company, bringing an R&D approach to datasets with the same rigor AI labs bring to models. It believes audio is the gateway for bringing AI into the real world, and high-quality training data is the bottleneck.

The client was founded in 2024 by former Scale AI engineers and operators, counts most FAANG companies and AI labs as customers, is backed by NVIDIA and top-tier investors, and has raised an $80M Series B.

The Role

The client is hiring Frontend Software Engineers (2+ years) to build intuitive interfaces that help users make sense of the audio data used to train AI models. You will join a fast-moving team that ships to production daily.

What You Will Do

  • Ship polished UI features that thousands of users use every day.
  • Build performant interfaces on top of pipelines processing terabytes of audio data.
  • Design interfaces that surface LLM- and DSP-based solutions for customers.
  • Iterate quickly with researchers and operations to deploy data collection interfaces.
  • Keep improving the product with modern frontend technologies.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of frontend engineering experience
  • Strong Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
  • Experience building performant, data-heavy interfaces
  • Ability to work in the San Francisco office 5 days a week

Tech Stack

Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, tRPC, PostgreSQL, AWS

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
