Location: New York, NY (in office 3-4 days per week; remote US considered)

Compensation: $180,000 - $230,000 + generous equity

The client helps Hispanic immigrants turn their hard work into upward mobility, starting with financial services that ease the move from cash to the digital economy: checking accounts that accept 100+ Latin American IDs and cash deposits at 90K+ locations nationwide.

Founded in 2021, the client has raised $50M+, has about 40 people and is growing 20%+ month over month.

The Role

The client is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (4-8 years) to own its mobile engineering function. As the senior mobile hire, you will work closely with the founders and engineering leadership on the app that powers banking for Latino families.

What You Will Do

  • Own the mobile engineering function and drive it independently.
  • Build and ship features in React Native across iOS and Android.
  • Define mobile architecture patterns, tooling and processes so the team ships fast without sacrificing quality.
  • Work cross-functionally as a senior leader: manage stakeholders, present ideas and push the business forward.

What You Bring

  • 4-8 years of mobile engineering, with production React Native
  • TypeScript and GraphQL
  • Experience owning mobile architecture and release processes
  • Strong cross-functional communication

Nice to Have

  • Expo experience
  • Fintech or consumer banking apps
  • Spanish language skills
