Senior Product Engineer

Location: New York, NY (Chelsea office, in person 2-4 days per week)

Compensation: $170,000 - $225,000 + competitive equity

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Company

The client is on a mission to make life happier and healthier for autistic and neurodivergent adults, a group that has been systematically overlooked despite a 5x rise in autism diagnoses over 25 years. Prosper delivers specialized mental health services for autistic adults, covered by insurance, and has helped tens of thousands of people.

Prosper has raised a $16.2M Series A and has a Series B underway as it expands into ADHD diagnosis, medication management and clinician supervision tooling.

The Role

Prosper is hiring a Senior Product Engineer (5+ years): a product-minded, full-stack builder excited to own real work in building the first comprehensive platform for autistic and neurodivergent adults. This is a foundational hire as Prosper scales into new verticals, with about 70% greenfield work.

What You Will Do

  • Build new product across the stack, from client intake and clinician tooling to medication management and ADHD features.
  • Design and ship backend APIs and frontend experiences in a TypeScript monorepo (Node/Fastify, React, Supabase, tRPC, Prisma).
  • Work directly with operations, clinical teams and incoming PMs to validate and ship solutions to real user problems.
  • Own projects end to end with real influence on product direction.
  • Contribute to developer experience: CI/CD, observability and code quality.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-stack product engineering
  • Strong TypeScript with Node.js and React
  • Product mindset and end-to-end ownership
  • Ability to work in the Chelsea, NYC office 2-4 days a week
  • US work authorization without sponsorship

Nice to Have

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
