This role ensures high-quality data extraction from D365 F&O into Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2) and modern analytics platforms (Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse / PowerBI).

The role includes building reliable data transformations, understanding AxDB structures and finance domain concepts, and supporting subscription-based analytics solutions. While the primary focus is D365 F&O data engineering, the position incorporates emerging AI-assisted development practices to enhance CI/CD efficiency and development quality.

  • Strong 3 to 4 years of experience with Dynamics 365 F&O, AxDB schema, tables, entities, and integration concepts.
  • Good understanding of Finance and subledger data structures in D365 F&O.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Link or Fabric Link, ADLS Gen2, and PySpark/Spark.
  • Ability to build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise environments.
  • Strong capability in working with financial data (journals, ledgers, invoices, customer/vendor transactions).
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse and Power Platform components relevant to Dynamics.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, version control, branching, PRs, and deployment pipelines (nice-to-have).
  • Awareness of CI/CD, YAML pipelines, deployment automation, and reusable engineering templates.
  • Exposure to Power BI, data modelling, and analytics concepts.
  • Basic understanding of X++, cloud-hosted development environments, and other Dynamics platforms (CE/Sales, Business Central).
  • Experience with third-party data feeds (Example- Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Google Ads) is advantageous.
  • Ability to leverage Copilot, GitHub-Copilot, or similar AI tools for development acceleration, documentation, and automation support.
  • Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines from Dynamics 365 F&O to ADLS Gen2 using Synapse Link or Fabric Link.
  • Develop and optimize transformation logic in Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric using Spark/PySpark.
  • Analyse AxDB structures and F&O data entities to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Implement scalable, reusable data models for reporting, analytics products, and downstream systems.
  • Ensure strong data quality, governance, lineage, and reliability across Travel systems.
  • Contribute to subscription-based analytics development by maintaining consistent Fabric/Synapse dataflows, Lakehouse tables, and curated datasets.
  • Collaborate with BI teams to ensure analytical outputs are well-modelled, accurate, and performance-optimized.
  • Apply functional understanding of core finance processes such as GL, COA, invoicing, billing, and sales orders while translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to interpret requirements and deliver suitable data engineering solutions.
  • Support integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O, Dataverse, and related systems, with an understanding of Dataverse structures and synchronization patterns.

Job benefits

  • Work with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies in a dynamic environment where innovation and growth opportunities are abundant.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated Dynamics professionals focused on customer success.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a work-life balance that suits your needs.
  • Be part of a positive work culture where teamwork and productivity thrive.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
  • Significant opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
