The successful candidate will be expected to establish an internationally visible, externally funded research program; teach and mentor students effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels; contribute to the Department’s academic mission and service activities; and participate actively in the intellectual life of the University. The current teaching load is one course per semester, although this though this may be subject to change depending on departmental needs.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional promise in research and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship. Postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
