As a Ford Certified Technician, you’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure our customers’ vehicles stay in top condition. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic tools, stay up to date with the latest Ford technology, and grow your skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities for Service Technician

  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.)
  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor regarding additional repairs and estimated time for completion
  • Execute repairs under warranty and follow manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications for Service Technician

  • Ford Certification
  • ASE Certification preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of Service Technician experience (Ford dealership experience preferred)
  • B-Level qualifications including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate diagnostic and electronic equipment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
