Responsibilities:

Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Adoption:

  • Execute the infrastructure, integrations, and processes necessary to support UCF's enterprise AI Strategy. Demonstrate institutional value and measurable outcomes for UCF customers.
  • Scale transformational AI opportunities across academics, research, student services, healthcare, and administration.
  • Partner with university leaders to move AI initiatives from experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment.
  • Support investment decisions related to generative AI, intelligent agents, automation, copilots, and advanced analytics.

Enterprise Technology Strategy:

  • Establish strategic roadmaps, architecture, and sustainable funding models for enterprise infrastructure, cloud, data center services.
  • Establish strategic roadmaps, architecture, and sustainable funding models for unified communications, collaboration and productivity suites, enterprise applications, and digital workplace technologies.

Executive Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Drive excellence in customer service across technology programs.
  • Present technology roadmaps, investment priorities, and AI adoption plans to executive leadership and governing boards.
  • Establish team priorities, performance objectives, and investment strategies.
  • Oversee vendor partnerships, licensing, service portfolios, and strategic technology contracts for cloud, communications, collaboration, applications, and AI platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of relevant experience including 4+ years of leadership experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 13+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree including 4+ years of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Fifteen or more years of progressively responsible technology leadership experience, including five or more years leading enterprise-wide technology strategy within higher education, healthcare, Fortune 1000, or similarly complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital, cloud, and AI transformation initiatives, including implementation of enterprise AI solutions, generative AI programs serving thousands of users, and enterprise collaboration, productivity, communication, or application platforms.
  • Experience establishing AI governance, risk management, and responsible AI frameworks to support secure, scalable, and ethical adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar technology portfolios, strategic vendor relationships, and enterprise technology investments.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including board-level presentations and influencing senior leadership.
  • Recognized thought leadership in AI, digital transformation, or emerging technologies through publications, conference speaking engagements, or industry recognition.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
