Job Description

Please note: this is a temporary assignment (6 months) with potential to extend.

The HR Liaison will serve as a primary HR and administrative point of contact between the Temporary Employment Program (TEP), cross-functional HR teams, hiring leaders, and TEP employees. The HR Liaison will provide guidance and support to hiring leaders and TEP employees on a broad range of appointment-related matters, helping ensure timely communication and resolution of inquiries and operational needs. This role will apply professional knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and processes to coordinate and oversee ongoing administrative and operational activities. Additionally, the HR Liaison will administer established programs and processes that support TEP operations, identify opportunities for process improvement, and independently analyze and resolve operational issues of moderate complexity.

UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees to provide immediate clerical and technical support to UCSF departments and various off-campus locations. Temporary employees support special projects, provide coverage for regular employees on vacation or leave, and temporarily fill vacant positions while departments conduct recruitment. Many temporary employees go on to become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions at UCSF.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
