The posting

Als Business Controller ben je de financiële sparringpartner van het management. Jij levert de cijfers en analyses waarop strategische beslissingen steunen.

Concreet sta je in voor:

• Het analyseren van financiële data. Je ziet trends, afwijkingen en risico's op tijd en je brengt ze zelf aan.

• Het mee trekken van het budgetproces en de forecasts. Je werkt ook mee aan meerjarenplannen en investeringsbeslissingen.

• Het maken van businesscases en scenarioanalyses samen met het management, bijvoorbeeld over de winstgevendheid van bedrijfstakken, make-or-buy beslissingen en supply chain kosten.

• Het adviseren van het management over procesverbetering, kostenbesparing en winstgevendheid. Je durft kritische vragen te stellen.

• Het kiezen en meetbaar maken van KPI's.

• Stabiele en correcte financiële processen, als basis voor strategische beslissingen.

• De rol van ERP key-user voor het Finance team.

• Ondersteuning tijdens de afsluiting, met correcte rapportering en consolidatie voor de verschillende groepsentiteiten.

Je bent een teamspeler die sterk in de schoenen staat en de business durft uit te dagen.

Herken je jezelf hierin?

• Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring als Business Controller in een bedrijf, met budgettering, forecasting, scenarioanalyse en investeringsbeslissingen. Ervaring als financieel analist of in audit alleen is niet voldoende.

• Je hebt een master Handelswetenschappen, TEW of Handelsingenieur. Een bachelor met een sterk parcours als controller kan ook.

• Je werkt vlot met Excel en Power BI en je hebt ervaring met consolidatie.

• Je spreekt goed Engels.

• Je hebt interesse in duurzaamheid en een sterke interesse in AI en hoe het de financiële werking kan verbeteren.

• Kennis van Business Central, ervaring in een industriële omgeving en kennis van het Frans zijn mooie troeven.
