The posting

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living team in Royal Oak, MI. In this role, you will provide quality nursing care to residents in an assisted living environment, ensuring their health and well-being are maintained with dignity and respect. Interviews are going to be at our office in Livonia.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to state regulations.
  • Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Assist with developing and updating individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing activities and resident information.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions and care.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the state of Michigan.
  • Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
