University Home Care Inc is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive field experience to join our team as a Palliative Care Nurse. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional passionate about providing quality palliative care to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
  • Work independently in the field, managing patient care plans and coordinating with healthcare teams.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care effectively.
  • Educate patients and families about palliative care techniques and symptom management.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and University Home Care Inc policies.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Proven experience working in the field, preferably in palliative or home care settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to travel to Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
