University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Royal Oak, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, assisting with their day-to-day health needs and supporting their overall well-being in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient health and record vital signs
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and families on health care and wellness
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Michigan
  • Previous experience in home care or a similar nursing role is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices and medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes
