University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Southfield, MI. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely in compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.

Requirements

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
  • Previous experience in home health care or a related nursing role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Southfield, MI area.
