University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to clients in Casco, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Monitor and document client health and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Follow care plans and directives to meet individual client needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethics
