University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Howell, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Your care and attention will make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.
  • Ensure clients’ safety and comfort during visits.
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in home care or a related field is a plus.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Howell, MI.
  • Must pass background checks.
  • Flexible availability to meet client scheduling needs.
