Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling of homecare clinicians according to patient care plans and authorization guidelines.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and authorization status to ensure compliance with coverage requirements.
  • Manage prior authorization requests and follow-up communications with insurance providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of clinician visit frequencies and authorization documentation.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, patients, and insurance companies to resolve any scheduling or authorization issues promptly.
  • Ensure all care services are delivered in compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience with homecare agency scheduling and clinician frequency management.
  • Knowledge of prior authorization processes and insurance eligibility verification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with relevant scheduling and healthcare management software is preferred.
