The posting

At UNRL, we’re redefining what performance wear means. We create premium apparel that blurs the line between work, sport, and everyday life — built for those who demand more. Our team is driven by innovation, craftsmanship, and authenticity. We’re looking for people who share our belief that people matter, effort counts, success is found in sweating details, and culture drives excellence. Join us and help build a brand that empowers people to look good, feel confident, and perform their best — every day. How did we get here? We hire great people that fit our culture and have an old-school work ethic. We make great products and provide our customers with an unreal experience. We create great processes that enable us to set goals and track our success. The UNRL team consists of a small, tight-knit group of hardworking people with an entrepreneurial mindset. We are building a brand that will stand the test of time and continue to make a positive impact in our communities. What are you leaving behind? Job Overview The Women's Developer is responsible for managing the technical development of assigned women's apparel styles from design handoff through production readiness. This role serves as a key link between design intent and finished product, ensuring each style meets UNRL's expectations for fit, function, construction, quality, cost, and consistency. Working closely with Design, Product Development, and external suppliers, the Women's Developer creates and maintains detailed technical packages, coordinates sample reviews, leads fit evaluations, and drives timely revisions throughout the development process. This individual takes ownership of technical accuracy, proactively addresses development challenges, and ensures products are fully validated and ready for a successful production handoff. Responsibilities Own the development of assigned women's apparel styles from design handoff through production readiness, ensuring design intent is translated into technically sound, manufacturable products. Create, update, and maintain comprehensive tech packs, including construction details, measurements, specifications, materials information, and clear supplier instructions. Coordinate prototype and development samples, evaluate submissions against specifications, consolidate feedback, and manage revisions through final approval. Lead and document fit reviews, evaluate garment fit, balance, and functionality, and communicate precise corrections to suppliers to achieve consistent fit standards. Establish and maintain accurate points of measure, size specifications, and tolerances; confirm technical details remain current throughout development. Partner with suppliers to review garment construction, finishing, material application, and manufacturing feasibility while preserving product quality and design intent. Review product costing against established targets, identify potential cost drivers, and collaborate on solutions that balance quality, functionality, and commercial requirements. Identify and proactively resolve potential fit, quality, construction, and production risks; escalate issues early and follow through on corrective actions. Track sample status, development milestones, approvals, and critical deadlines; communicate progress and potential delays to internal teams and suppliers. Validate final samples, specifications, fit comments, construction details, and required approvals before handing styles off to production, ensuring a complete and accurate transition. What Good Looks Like Success in this role means consistently delivering well-developed women’s apparel products that meet fit, quality, cost, and timeline expectations while preserving design intent. Accurate, complete tech packs and specifications. Timely sample reviews and clearly documented fit and construction corrections. Proactive communication with suppliers and internal partners. Early identification and resolution of product development risks. Reliable production handoffs with all required details validated. Requirements 3+ years of progressive experience in apparel product development, technical design, or a related role, preferably within performance apparel, activewear, or lifestyle apparel. Experience in apparel product development, preferably with women’s apparel. Strong knowledge of garment construction, specifications, and manufacturing processes. Experience evaluating garment fit and communicating fit corrections. Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation and tech packs. Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with apparel suppliers and sample development teams. Familiarity with product costing, tolerances, and production approval processes. Experience developing performance or lifestyle apparel. Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Product Development, Fashion Design, Textile Science, or a related field. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
