Inside Sales Representative  Community Choice | Inside Sales | Uncapped Earning Potential Company: LocaliQ, powered by the USA TODAY NetworkBrand: Community ChoiceWork Arrangement: Inside Sales

About Community Choice At Community Choice, we connect local businesses with the people and communities they want to reach through exciting events, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities. Powered by LocaliQ and the USA TODAY Network, we combine local connections with the resources and expertise of a nationally recognized media organization. Our team helps businesses get in front of their ideal customers while creating memorable experiences within their communities. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in bringing those partnerships to life. You’ll connect with business owners and decision-makers, uncover their goals and marketing challenges, introduce sponsorship and advertising opportunities, and help create partnerships that deliver visibility, engagement, and value. If you’re energized by competition, motivated by results, and enjoy the challenge of turning a prospect’s business goals into a marketing solution, this could be the opportunity for you.

About the Role This is a full-cycle, high-energy sales role where you’ll own the process from the first conversation through the close. You’ll spend your day prospecting for new business, connecting with small and medium-sized businesses, conducting needs-based conversations, presenting event sponsorship and advertising opportunities, and building relationships with decision-makers. The ideal salesperson isn't simply looking to make a sale—they know how to ask the right questions, uncover pain points, understand what a business is trying to accomplish, and connect those needs to the right solution. Community Choice offers defined sponsorship and marketing packages, so success comes from understanding the customer's needs and effectively positioning the solutions available rather than creating a completely custom offering for every client. You’ll manage your own pipeline, work toward monthly revenue and activity goals, and use Salesforce CRM to stay organized and keep opportunities moving forward. This role combines new business prospecting with relationship building and nurturing. You’ll need the drive to consistently create new opportunities while also having the patience and follow-through to develop prospects and move them through the sales process. The role is built for someone who enjoys having clear goals, wants their effort to directly impact their earnings, and thrives in an environment where activity, persistence, strategic selling, and results matter. With strong training, sales tools, marketing resources, and leadership support behind you, you’ll have the opportunity to build your sales skills while growing your book of business.

Why This Role Stands Out

$19.24/hour base pay + uncapped commission On-Target Earnings of approximately $65K Top performers earning $100K+ annually Opportunity to own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through close Sell exciting event sponsorships, advertising, and promotional partnerships Use a consultative sales approach to uncover business needs and position marketing solutions Work with local businesses and help them increase their visibility in the community Comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing sales development Access to Salesforce, marketing resources, lead support, and sales tools Clear opportunities for career growth and advancement Collaborative, high-energy team environment with strong leadership support Backed by LocaliQ and the USA TODAY Network

What You Will Do

Own the full sales cycle by prospecting, qualifying, conducting needs assessments, presenting, negotiating, and closing new business Conduct consistent daily outbound outreach to small and medium-sized businesses Build relationships with business owners and key decision-makers Ask thoughtful questions to understand business goals, marketing challenges, and customer acquisition needs Identify pain points and recommend the Community Choice sponsorship and advertising solutions that best align with those needs Effectively communicate the value and business impact of marketing opportunities rather than relying primarily on price Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM Balance new business development with consistent follow-up and nurturing of existing opportunities Conduct sales presentations and confidently communicate the value of Community Choice opportunities Consistently work toward and exceed monthly revenue and activity goals Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional solutions Maintain accurate CRM notes, activity tracking, pipeline information, and forecasting Stay persistent and engaged throughout the sales process to turn opportunities into new partnerships

Qualifications

2–5 years of proven sales experience, with B2B, outbound, consultative, advertising, marketing, media, sponsorship, or account acquisition experience preferred Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals or quotas Experience with consultative or solution-based selling Strong ability to conduct needs assessments, uncover pain points, and connect customer needs to available solutions Confident communicator with a strong phone presence Comfortable making frequent outbound calls and initiating conversations with new prospects Strong closing and negotiation skills Highly self-motivated, organized, and competitive Internally motivated and driven to succeed without needing constant direction or external motivation Comfortable working in a performance-based, commission-driven environment Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up Comfortable adapting your sales approach while working within defined products and packages Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus Bachelor’s degree or media/advertising sales experience is a plus

Who Thrives Here The people who succeed in this role are competitive, persistent, confident, strategic, and motivated by results. They enjoy picking up the phone, starting conversations, overcoming objections, and finding a way to move an opportunity forward. The strongest candidates will have experience selling through value rather than simply competing on price. They know how to get beyond the initial request, ask questions, identify what's really driving the customer's decision, and position a solution around the customer's goals. You don't need to be an events expert on day one. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, ask good questions, uncover business needs, handle rejection, stay organized, and keep pushing toward the next opportunity. This role is especially well suited for someone who enjoys a mix of hunting and nurturing—someone who can create new opportunities through consistent prospecting but also has the relationship-building skills and follow-through to develop those opportunities over time. Because our solutions are built around defined packages, the ability to work within an established solution set and confidently position the value of those offerings is important. Salespeople who are highly dependent on creating completely customized solutions for every customer may find the role less natural. If you enjoy a fast pace, clear goals, strategic selling, and the opportunity to directly influence your earnings through your own performance, you'll find plenty of room to grow here.

What Success Looks Like First 3 Months:Complete onboarding and product training, build your prospecting habits, learn the Community Choice event portfolio and available packages, and begin developing a strong sales pipeline through consistent outbound activity and effective discovery conversations. 6 Months:Consistently prospect, manage a healthy pipeline, conduct confident needs-based sales conversations, effectively position Community Choice solutions, nurture opportunities, and establish steady performance against revenue and activity goals. 12 Months:Own your sales cycle with confidence, consistently deliver against revenue goals, build a strong book of business, develop lasting client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand your impact and earnings.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
