Voor een maatschappelijk relevante organisatie in de regio Gent zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Senior Financial Controller die gedurende een periode van 12 maanden het financiële team komt versterken.

Binnen deze opdracht speel je een belangrijke rol in de financiële opvolging en ondersteuning van de organisatie. Je fungeert als financiële sparringpartner voor verschillende interne stakeholders en draagt bij aan een correcte budgetopvolging, financiële rapportering en verdere optimalisatie van bestaande processen.

Je komt terecht in een professionele omgeving waar financiële nauwkeurigheid, analytisch inzicht en zelfstandigheid essentieel zijn.

Jobomschrijving

  • Ondersteunen bij de opmaak, opvolging en bijsturing van budgetten.
  • Opstellen en opvolgen van financiële prognoses, forecasts en meerjarenplanningen.
  • Fungeren als financiële sparringpartner voor budgethouders en management.
  • Voorbereiden en opvolgen van de financiële jaarafsluiting.
  • Uitvoeren van financiële analyses en opmaken van managementrapporteringen.
  • Opvolgen van budgetwijzigingen en kredietverschuivingen.
  • Ondersteunen bij financiële vraagstukken en investeringsbeslissingen.
  • Analyseren en optimaliseren van bestaande financiële processen.
  • Bijdragen aan analytische boekhouding, kostenmodellen en interne controles.

Voor deze opdracht zoeken we een ervaren financieel profiel dat inhoudelijk sterk aansluit bij de gevraagde expertise.

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een financiële of economische richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring als Financial Controller, bij voorkeur aangevuld met een bredere ervaring binnen controlling.
  • Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van boekhouding en financiële controlling.
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van Excel en ervaring met SAP.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met budgetbeheer, forecasting en financiële rapportering.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met financiële analyses, jaarafsluitingen en budgettaire opvolging.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk, werkt nauwkeurig en kan zelfstandig complexe dossiers behandelen.
  • Je communiceert vlot en kan op een constructieve manier samenwerken met verschillende stakeholders.

Extra troeven:

  • Ervaring binnen een publieke, semipublieke of maatschappelijk relevante organisatie.
  • Kennis van de Beleids- en Beheerscyclus (BBC).
  • Ervaring met budgetopmaak en budgetwijzigingen binnen lokale besturen.
  • Ervaring met meerjarenplanning, investeringsdossiers en analytische boekhouding.
