Veloretti is een design-led lifestylemerk uit Amsterdam, ontstaan vanuit een heldere visie op hoe mensen zich door de stad bewegen. We ontwerpen fietsen en e-bikes die passen bij het moderne stadsleven: functioneel, doordacht en met veel aandacht voor design, detail en gebruik. Het product staat centraal, maar het merk gaat verder dan mobiliteit alleen. Veloretti beweegt zich op het snijvlak van design, lifestyle en stedelijke cultuur.

Sinds 2022 is Veloretti onderdeel van Pon.Bike. We groeien hard in meerdere Europese steden. Daarmee wordt PR steeds belangrijker in hoe we bekendheid, relevantie en desirability opbouwen, niet alleen via media, maar ook via campagnes, lanceringen, retailmomenten, partnerships, community en cultuur.

De rol

Als PR Manager geef je richting aan hoe Veloretti naar buiten treedt. Je vertaalt merkstrategie, campagnes en lanceringen naar heldere PR-verhalen, relevante persmomenten en sterke externe communicatie.

Je werkt nauw samen met ons vaste PR-agency en het brand- en marketingteam. Daarnaast ondersteun je de interne communicatie en ben je het vaste schakelpunt voor de PR-afdeling van Pon.Bike. Je zorgt dat PR en communicatie bijdragen aan hoe we het merk bouwen en positioneren — intern én extern.

Kortom: Een rol voor iemand die strategisch denkt, vooruit plant en tegelijkertijd dicht op de uitvoering zit. Je brengt richting, maar zorgt er vooral voor dat plannen concreet worden en op het juiste moment de wereld in gaan.

Wat je doet

  • Strategie & planning: Je ontwikkelt Veloretti’s PR-strategie per Europese markt en vertaalt deze naar een heldere jaarkalender.
  • Storytelling: Je vertaalt merkstrategie, productlanceringen en partnerships naar PR-verhalen die passen bij onze positionering.
  • Brand guarding: Je bewaakt hoe Veloretti extern wordt gepositioneerd — in toon, inhoud en context.
  • Relatiebeheer: Je bouwt en onderhoudt relaties met media, journalisten, redacties en culturele partners die ertoe doen.
  • Agency management: Je brieft agencies scherp, stelt duidelijke prioriteiten en stuurt aan op resultaat.
  • Influencer & Partnerships: Je werkt samen met de Marketing Manager aan influencer-marketing met focus op merkfit en kwaliteit, niet alleen op bereik.
  • Reputatiemanagement: Je ondersteunt bij gevoelige communicatie, statements en Q&A’s.
  • Events & representatie: Je bent actief aanwezig bij relevante events, om ons merk ter plekke te vertegenwoordigen, journalisten en KOL’s te begeleiden en de merkbeleving over te brengen.
  • Spokesperson: Je fungeert als de PR spokesperson voor Veloretti en neemt de lead in hoe we als merk vertegenwoordigd worden in de media.
  • Inzicht & optimalisatie: Je analyseert PR-resultaten en media-impact en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteringen voor volgende campagnes.

Wie we zoeken

We zoeken een PR-professional met een sterk gevoel voor merk, media en cultuur. Je begrijpt wat het betekent om te werken voor een design-led lifestylemerk; je kijkt verder dan plat bereik en focust op smaak en context. Je snapt wat een merk als Veloretti wél en niet zou zeggen, denkt in verhalen en hebt een duidelijke mening over wat wel en niet klopt voor ons merk.

Wat je meebrengt

  • 5+ jaar ervaring in PR of brand communications, bij voorkeur binnen lifestyle, fashion, design of een ander high-end consumentenmerk.
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels zowel in woord als geschrift (je schrijft je eigen persberichten en statements moeiteloos in beide talen).
  • Een warm netwerk bij relevante (internationale) media, lifestyle-titels en cultuur platforms.
  • Ervaring met agency-management waarbij je gewend bent om kritische feedback te geven en de regie te houden.
  • Strategisch én hands-on mentaliteit: je switcht moeiteloos tussen de grote lijnen en de dagelijkse executie. Het ene moment bepaal je de PR-koers, het volgende moment tik je zelf een vlijmscherpe perstekst, briefing of vertegenwoordig je Veloretti op een evenement.
  • Een kalme, proactieve werkhouding, ook wanneer er meerdere projecten en lanceringen tegelijk lopen.
