Description
The Solution Delivery Manager (SDM) bridges the gap between clients, clinical, engineering, product, and customer success teams to lead the implementation, adoption, and optimization of Verily’s enterprise solutions for Life Science and Med Tech customers. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business outcomes while nurturing long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Managing the full project lifecycle —from initiation through deployment and support transition—managing contractual deliverables, timelines, governance, cross-functional coordination across both platform implementations and clinical trial delivery engagements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, cultivating strong relationships with life science and med tech customers, executive sponsors, and stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Translate customer and clinical requirements into project implementation plans, working directly with other cross-functional leads to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate and align execution across Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Security, and Customer Success teams without formal authority over those teams. Leading and motivating internal teams to collaborate effectively and deliver high-quality work that aligns with client goals.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables. Providing clear, consistent communication on project status, risks, and value delivery to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree) managing customer delivery, software implementations, professional services, or complex technology programs, within the life sciences, med tech, or healthcare space.
- Program Management: Proven track record of delivering customer-facing projects on time and building relationships across executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software delivery lifecycles (SDLC), and technical implementation best practices.
- Core Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills with a consultative, collaborative, and adaptable approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing or supporting life science and med tech platforms, including data/research platforms and clinical trial systems.
- Deep subject matter expertise in clinical trial operations (protocol design to reporting) within cross-functional teams.
- Strong familiarity with regulated compliance frameworks, specifically HIPAA and GCP.
- Proven ability to manage complex software, services, and multi-stakeholder processes using tools like Jira, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Google Workspace.
