· Act as a key point of contact for regulatory compliance matters.

· Maintain compliance registers, including breaches, complaints, conflicts of interest, and gifts and hospitality.

· Produce compliance management information and reporting for senior leadership and the Board.

Regulatory Advice & Governance

· Provide day-to-day regulatory advice across the business.

· Support the interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements, including Payment Services Regulations and Consumer Duty.

· Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organisation.

· Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures and frameworks.

· Assist with regulatory change projects and business initiatives.

Safeguarding & Regulatory Reporting

· Prepare and submit regulatory returns and notifications accurately and on time.

· Ensure regulatory obligations are met in line with FCA expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

· Review and approve financial promotions and customer-facing communications.

· Deliver compliance training and promote a positive compliance culture.

· Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

· Support audits, regulatory reviews and due diligence requests from banking partners.

· Work collaboratively with the MLRO and Financial Crime teams.

Who we are looking for:

· Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance within payments, e-money, FX, fintech or financial services.

· Experience of compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting and policy development.

· Excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance requirements.

· Strong communication skills with the confidence to advise and challenge senior stakeholders.

· Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

· Previous approval as a PSD Individual or SMF16.

· Knowledge of Payment Services Regulations, safeguarding requirements and Consumer Duty.

· Experience working within payments, foreign exchange or fintech businesses.

· ICA Diploma or another relevant compliance qualification.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
