Job Description

Job Description: Director of Product Management – Open USD Compliance and Onboarding Feature Owner

Visa’s Stablecoin team is building cutting-edge onchain infrastructure to change the way money moves. While onchain solutions began as niche and speculative, they are now transforming how value moves across the global financial ecosystem.

Visa is at the forefront of this transition. We are rapidly expanding our stablecoin and tokenized money infrastructure to enhance our network and develop solutions for partners around the world. Visa brings trust, scale, and security to the evolving onchain ecosystem, creating the opportunity for generational impact in payments and beyond.

We are seeking a Director of Product Management – Open USD Compliance and Onboarding to set the strategy and lead delivery of scalable capabilities for partner onboarding, Know Your Business (KYB), compliance, and partner data management. This leader will define the global product vision and operating model, establish roadmap priorities, and guide the development of workflows, platforms, controls, and automation required to expand Open USD responsibly across markets and partner segments.

This is a senior, highly cross-functional leadership role at the intersection of stablecoins, regulatory strategy, financial crime compliance, onboarding operations, data governance, and enterprise-scale financial infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines strategic product leadership with strong execution discipline, can influence executive stakeholders, and can translate complex global and local requirements into a cohesive platform strategy and measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you will lead across compliance, legal, risk, operations, engineering, data, sales, client-facing teams, and regional stakeholders to define and deliver the capabilities required to scale Open USD globally. You will own the compliance and onboarding product portfolio, including regional expansion of KYB and related controls based on local regulatory, licensing, data, documentation, and risk requirements. You will align global platform standards with market-specific needs while avoiding unnecessary fragmentation.

This role requires an enterprise product leader who can bring structure to ambiguity, make informed trade-offs across growth, risk, control, and client experience, and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver capabilities that are controlled, auditable, scalable, and commercially practical. The Director will establish governance, communicate decisions and dependencies to senior leadership, and ensure the portfolio is positioned for sustainable global growth.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Product Management – Open USD Compliance and Onboarding, you will:

  • Set the global product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Open USD compliance, KYB, onboarding, and partner data capabilities, aligning platform investments with business growth, risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and client needs.
  • Lead expansion of compliance and KYB capabilities into new regions by partnering with regional compliance, legal, risk, and business leaders to assess local requirements and translate them into scalable product configurations, controls, data models, and operating procedures.
  • Establish a global-to-local product framework that preserves consistent enterprise standards while supporting jurisdiction-specific requirements for entity verification, beneficial ownership, documentation, screening, approvals, data residency, retention, auditability, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Own the compliance and onboarding product portfolio, including intake, identity and business verification, case management, approval routing, partner readiness, remediation, periodic review, and lifecycle data management.
  • Drive automation and operating-model transformation, replacing manual and fragmented processes with reusable platform services, configurable workflows, decisioning, integrations, and measurable controls.
  • Direct market-entry readiness for new regions and partner segments, defining product gaps, regulatory dependencies, launch criteria, sequencing, investment needs, and escalation paths in partnership with regional stakeholders.
  • Provide executive leadership across product, technology, compliance, legal, risk, operations, data, sales, and client services, creating shared accountability for roadmap decisions, delivery milestones, control effectiveness, and commercial outcomes.
  • Guide engineering and data architecture priorities for onboarding automation, KYB orchestration, third-party integrations, data governance, system-of-record strategy, access controls, observability, resilience, and operational scale.
  • Define portfolio governance and decision forums for prioritization, funding, risk acceptance, regulatory change intake, market exceptions, and cross-functional dependency management.
  • Develop and maintain a capability model for regional compliance requirements, identifying what can be standardized globally, configured by market, or delivered through local integrations and operational processes.
  • Own product outcomes and performance, including onboarding cycle time, KYB completion and approval rates, automation adoption, data quality, control effectiveness, issue reduction, regional launch readiness, client experience, and operating efficiency.
  • Represent the portfolio with senior executives and governance bodies, providing clear recommendations on investment, risk, launch readiness, regulatory dependencies, operational capacity, and scaling opportunities.
  • Build and develop a high-performing product organization, setting clear direction, coaching product managers and cross-functional leads, strengthening product management discipline, and fostering accountability for end-to-end outcomes.
  • Shape the future operating model for Open USD compliance and onboarding, including organizational roles, platform ownership, regional engagement, controls, service levels, vendor strategy, escalation paths, and continuous improvement priorities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
