The role and the team

We are looking for a Software Developer to extend our brand‑new UX/UI team responsible for building browser‑based 3D modelling, simulation tools, and design user experience and interfaces for all our products. The core team will include front-end developers, UX/UI designers, along with dedicated PO and QA members from their respective teams. Our team size is typically 5-8 persons. You would join our colleagues in Espoo or Tampere (hybrid).

Your impact

As a Software Developer, you will be collaborating with your colleagues to establish the required architecture, select appropriate technologies, and implement the 3D Web Configurator for constructing production line layouts. Key responsibilities:

  • Develop frontend and 3D functionality with a focus on ease-of-use, security, and performance
  • Develop testing automation with the team for the frontend to enable frequent release to production
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to create robust integrations with frontend
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance web-based services to ensure reliability

TECH STACK

  • Languages & libraries: TypeScript, React 19
  • Build & deployment: Azure DevOps Pipelines, pnpm, vite, SonarQube
  • Tools: VS Code, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Copilot

The skills you will bring

We are seeking for a person with strong attitude to collaborative work, who is not afraid to be proactive, bold to bring up their own opinions, eager to work on various tasks and take ownership of work. What counts, is passion for learning and developing! Skills important for this role:

  • Strong TypeScript and React experience
  • Experience with authentication, especially MSAL, OAuth, and token handling
  • Experience with browser-based 3D visualization, including model handling, rendering through external libraries, canvas technologies, and performance-conscious frontend development
  • Practical testing skills with Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, pnpm, and environment configuration, including automated test pipelines
  • Ability to use, develop, maintain, and publish npm packages using pnpm, including managing dependencies, workspaces, versioning, and package builds
  • Experience working with internationalization, external libraries, and design systems
  • Ability to design clear API contracts and application state, especially for REST and WebSocket/SignalR integrations
  • Strong debugging, code review, communication, and architectural decision-making skills
